the giving tree

The season of giving is fast approaching. Do spare a thought for the less fortunate by visiting any of the 29 nearest MPH Bookstores outlet. Here's how and what you can do to contribute to society this year.

Share-a-Gift is MPH's annual charity programme that's now into its 16th year. It aims to provide less fortunate children with reading materials. This year, MPH pledges a contribution of books worth RM15,000 to participating homes in Malaysia. MPH hopes that you'll join in sending gifts in the form of books to the children too. All you need to do is

1) Pick a child's name from the Xmas tree
2) Purchase a suitable book for the child based on their age
3) Write your message down on the heart-shaped cards provided
4) MPH will get your present and note delivered to the child before Xmas

This year is my second time contributing towards this noble cause. (I made a purchase for a kid yesterday) Last year, if some of you recall - bought some coupon tickets via me for the Share-a-Gift charity event.

Thank you, happy giving and merry early Xmas!
